1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the AcreBound app ("App") or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use AcreBound.

2. Description of Service

AcreBound provides a mobile application for searching parcel data, viewing approximate property boundaries, accessing land and owner information where available, and using GPS and measurement tools. All data is provided for informational purposes only.

3. Free and Pro Tiers

AcreBound offers a free tier with basic features and AcreBound Pro with expanded features. Free features include basic parcel map access, approximate property line preview, limited lookups, and limited saved parcels. AcreBound Pro requires a paid subscription and includes unlimited lookups, owner details, GPS Property Line Mode, measurement tools, and more. Feature availability varies by county, state, and data source.

4. Subscription Terms and Apple Billing

• AcreBound Pro is available as a monthly ($8.99/month) or annual ($89.99/year) subscription.
• The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial. The monthly plan does not include a free trial.
• All payments are processed through Apple In-App Purchase via your Apple ID.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel your subscription in your iPhone Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• AcreBound does not process refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted to Apple.
• Apple's payment terms and policies apply to all subscription billing.

5. No Legal Survey or Legal Advice

AcreBound does not provide legal surveys, legal advice, title opinions, tax advice, appraisal services, or real estate investment advice. Property lines and parcel boundaries displayed in the App are approximate and are not a substitute for a survey performed by a licensed land surveyor. See our full Property Data Disclaimer.

6. No Guarantee of Data Accuracy

AcreBound makes no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, currency, or suitability of any parcel data, property boundaries, owner information, tax data, measurements, or GPS information provided through the App. Data is sourced from third-party providers and public records and may contain errors or omissions. Always verify important information with official sources.

7. Prohibited Uses

You may not use AcreBound to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Make legal boundary determinations for construction, fencing, or disputes
• Determine trespass or land access rights
• Use as a substitute for professional survey, legal, or title services
• Conduct skip tracing, background checks, tenant screening, employment vetting, or credit checks
• Use owner data for any purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
• Harass, stalk, or intimidate any person
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute parcel data in bulk without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract data from the App's APIs

8. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for how you use information obtained from AcreBound. AcreBound provides data as a reference tool. You assume all risk associated with reliance on any data, boundary information, measurements, or GPS information provided through the App.

9. No FCRA Use

AcreBound is not a consumer reporting agency as defined under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Data provided through AcreBound must not be used as a factor in establishing a consumer's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or any other purpose covered by the FCRA.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AcreBound and its developers, officers, employees, and data providers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on the App or its data.

11. Apple-Specific Terms

AcreBound is distributed through the Apple App Store. These Terms of Use are between you and AcreBound, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for AcreBound. In the event of any third-party intellectual property claim related to the App, Apple is not responsible for investigating, defending, or resolving such claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Updated Terms will be posted in the App and on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
