This Privacy Policy describes how AcreBound ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the AcreBound mobile application ("App") and website. By using AcreBound, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

When you use GPS features in the App, AcreBound accesses your device's location to show your position on the parcel map and, in Pro, to run GPS Property Line Mode. Location data is used in real time to provide these features. We do not store your GPS history on our servers. You can revoke location permissions at any time in your iPhone settings.
When you search for parcels by address, APN, owner name, or other criteria, search queries may be transmitted to our servers and to third-party parcel data providers to return results. We may retain aggregate search analytics to improve the App.
Parcels you save and notes you add are stored locally on your device and, where applicable, in your account data. We handle this data to provide the core functionality of saving and organizing parcels.
AcreBound Pro subscriptions are managed through Apple In-App Purchase and Adapty for subscription status management. We receive subscription status information (active, expired, trial) but do not receive your full payment card details. Billing is handled by Apple.
We may use analytics and crash reporting tools to understand how users interact with the App and to diagnose technical issues. Analytics data is collected in aggregate form. AcreBound uses third-party map tile providers (such as Apple Maps, OpenStreetMap, or similar services) to display map backgrounds. These providers have their own privacy policies.
Parcel boundary, owner, and property data is sourced from third-party parcel data providers and county records. Search queries may be shared with these providers to return results.
AcreBound uses Adapty for subscription management. Adapty may collect subscription event data as described in their privacy policy at adapty.io.
Apple handles all in-app purchase billing. Apple's privacy policy applies to payment transactions.
We retain data as long as necessary to provide the App's features or as required by law. Saved parcels and notes are stored on your device until you delete them or uninstall the App. Analytics data is retained in aggregate form for product improvement.
AcreBound is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at support@acrebound.com.
Depending on your location, you may have rights including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To make a request, contact support@acrebound.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy in the App and on this page with a new effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
